Made by women at our social enterprise partners . They run a school for children and illiterate women. Not only are these women taught to read but also trained in various skills, improving their living standards and empowering families. These women are paid a fair living wage and are taught reading skills in return.

Paper from offices and cloth rags are recycled in this facility run by women! They are taught to make diaries, bags, bookmarks... You name it using this paper and adding decorative elements like block printing or embroidery...

These bags have been especially designed for us and purchase of each bag pays for one school meal for the makers' kids!!
